After-School Cooking

These are the newest generation of community kitchens. We operate weekly kitchens at several school sites where we empower students to make their own menu choices based on seasonal, fresh produce provided by generous donors.

Our after-school cooking programs help build food literacy and cooking confidence among Seattle’s youth, and they are a lot of fun, too!

For more information on these programs, including how to start one at your school, contact Leika at LeikaSuzumura@seattletilth.org
