Mini-grants were awarded for groups doing Grow, Share, Eat programming in the Rainier Beach neighborhood.

- Tiny Tots Development Center to develop a garden and establish community kitchens at their site.

- East African Community Services to provide nutrition workshops and work with local ethnic markets to promote healthy eating.
- Solid Ground’s Seattle Community Farm to strengthen their kid’s cooking program. See recent blog post here.
- Joel E. Smilow Boys and Girls Club to establish a garden and do nutrition education through their existing cooking program.
- Pro-Use Produce to rescue and dry fruits and vegetables that would have gone into the wastestream. See recent blog post here.
- El Centro de la Raza to put up a greenhouse and provide community classes on food growing. See recent blog post here.
- Ground-Up Organics to work with youth at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm. See recent blog post here.
- Meredith Mathews East Madison YMCA at Cleveland High School to do cooking classes and community dinners. See recent blog posts here and here.
- Interim Community Development Association to create and outdoor kitchen and do community meals at the Danny Woo Children’s Garden. See blog post here.
- Rainier Valley Food Bank to continue providing great food to people in need. See blog post here.
- The Pacific Asian Empowerment Program, (PAEP), to increase production of local foods for use in their multi-ethnic feeding programs.
- African Americans Reach and Teach Health, (AARTH), to create food hubs in faith-based sites.
- Southshore K-8 school for monthly community dinners.
