A visit with Sam Osborne, executive director of the Rainier Valley Food Bank, is always inspiring.  With few staff, dedicated volunteers and a small space this site is able to feed 11,000 needy people in our community.

With RaVE mini-grant funding Sam is able to continue providing services both at the site and home delivries for 155 households.

• Cooking demonstrations with Chef Leika from Seattle Tilth
• A van load a week of lovely, fresh local produce from Farmer Scott at the Seattle Community Farm
• Plant starts from Katie at the Rainier Beach Farm
