Work Parties at Southeast Seattle Gardens

There are several community gardens around Southeast Seattle that need extra attention during the busy growing season.  Please join Rainier Valley Eats! in tending to these gardens — get some sun, make new friends, and enjoy some gardening!  You can also learn about community-based organic food production and sustainable landscape management during these hands on, drop-in events.  No gardening experience necessary — everyone is welcome!  Volunteer work parties are scheduled at the following sites:

Rainer Beach Farm @ the Atlantic City Nursery

Rainier Beach Learning Garden: in the park behind South Shore School
