Balsamic Vinaigrette


Here is a great recipe to try on any salad:

  • 5 TBSP olive oil
  • 2 TBSP balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Mix well.
  • Enjoy!

  1. One of only two ingredients used as salad dressing in Italian cooking. Just add olive oil and salt/pepper, and optional herbs/spices.

    Great sprinkled over braised greens just at the end of cooking, or even mixed in with the olive oil as you begin cooking.

  2. I love this dressing with some fruit to add a nice balance of flavors like mangoes, pears, or oranges. Adding some blue cheese also adds a great flavor! So simple and you get in your greens.

  3. I often will mix a jar of this up and just put it in the fridge. It lasts for about a week. I use this with a fresh bell pepper and mushroom salad too.
